Beloved offers the opportunity for you to host your own PlayShops with your own group of friends at your own location. Also great for parties and special occasions.

Do We Need A Host For A PlayShop?

Yes. It's important for Beloved to have a contact person.

What Are My Resposibilities As Host?

As host, you will schedule the event. Beloved will ask you for a list of participants and their e-mail addresses 2 weeks prior to the event. (If someone does not have have e-mail then a phone number is fine), You may, of course, continue to add additional participants at any time.
The host is also asked to arrange light refreshments. You can provide this yourself or choose to have particpants bring a goodie”. For longer PlayShops particpants may bring their own lunch or a dish to share.
Check-In. This is very simple. Just make sure everyone is there. And if there are any last minute particpants add them to the list.

Is There A Minimum or Maximum Number of Participants?

There is a 6 participant minimum. And there is no maximum number of participants.

How Long Are The PlayShops?

Kate offers several packages so you can schedule a class for 2 hours, 3 hours, half-day or full day.

What Is The Fee For PlayShops?

Pricing is Per Person (6 person minimum)
2 Hour Playshop - $25 per person
3 Hour Playshop - $30 per person
½ Day Playshop - $40 per person (½ Day is 4 Hours)
Full Day Playshop - $60 per person (Two 3-Hour Sessions with meal break in-between. Participants can bring their own meal or bring a dish to share.

As The Host Am I Responsible For Collecting The Money?

No. Beloved sends a confirmation/invoice to each particpant prior to the event. The payment is sent through PayPal. It is very quick and easy. And particpants can even use charge cards!

You can add additional particpants anytime...in fact, Beloved is always delighted to have additional guests. If there are last minute particpants, Beloved will ask the host to collect their payment (cash or check) at the event.
